Overview

Radoboj is a community in the Krapina-Zagorje County, 5 km west of Krapina. Population 3,600, a third of that number in the place of the same name. First mentioned in documents in 1334 AD.
Tomsilav Šipek found in the "Vecernji list" newspapers of 21 October 2005 a news clip recounting the Coat of Arms and flag being adopted in Radoboj on 20 October 2005. The design was made by Darko Potocki, a local artist from Radoboj. The article provided description of the Coat of Arms and the flag only and Tomsilav found am image of the Coat of Arms in "Zagorski list" nr. 114, 23 December 2005.   The coat of arms of Radoboj is simple: quartered or and sable.
The colours have been chosen to represent the two ores that once were main product of Redoboj - coal and sulphur.
The flag is green with the coat of arms in he middle, symbolizing the agriculture of the region.
