Description

Canarian vexillologist José Manuel Erbez reported in the Spanish Vexilologia mailing list the official adoption of the municipal flag. Accroding to the Order no. 845/2002 in the Boletín Oficial de Canarias webpage, the flag was adopted by the city council on 18th November 2000, and approved by the Canarian regional government on 27th May 2002.

It is a 2:3 yellow flag with a black hoist stripe, as wide as a third of the flag's length, having a embattled edge showing five black and four yellow battlements. The flag may display the arms, in which case this should be centred on the yellow part.

More information about this flag at José Manuel Erbez's website.
