This is of the flag of the Communist Youth Union in the whole Vietnam, not only in Ho Chi Minh City.

Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization is an organization of the Vietnamese children founded by Communist Party of Vietnam and Chairman Ho Chi Minh, managed by Ho Chi Minh Communistic Youth Party.

The Organization is an educational force inside and outside the school, is a reserve force of Hochiminh Communistic Youth Party, is a main force in children’s movement. The Organization operates in the school and population area.

The Organization uses 5 articles of Uncle Ho taught to the youth, children as a training, striving objective for Organization members, it helps children in study, operation, entertainment, it executes right and duty according to the law on children protection, care and education.

Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization has solidarity, cooperation to the organizations, children’s movement in the region and the world for benefits of Children, for peace, happiness of races.

Ho Chi Minh Youth Pioneer Organization was established on May 15, 1941.

• Red background
• Rectangle, width is equal to two thirds (2/3) of length.
• In the middle, it has image of Organization badge.
• Radius of the badge is equal to two fifths (2/5) of flag width.
