Every two years, vexillologists around the world unite for a week of discussion of flags in both formal and informal settings. This meetings are the International Congress of Vexillology (ICV). The 2005 meeting was held in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The next meeting in 2007 is scheduled for Berlin, Germany.
