Acacia

Acacia was established at the University of Michigan in 1904 by members of the university's Masonic Club. Originally, membership was restricted to members of the Freemasons, but this requirement was eliminated in 1933. The flag, adopted in 1950, is a vertical triband of gold-black-gold with the fraternity arms on the center (or on a fess cotised sable three right triangles of the field) and the name in gold Old English lettering in an arc at the top.
