Decision Odlok o uporabi grba in zastave Občine Kuzma was
adopted on 18 June 1999 and published in the Slovenian official
gazette Uradni list Republike Slovenije 60/99 on 29 July 1999,
with effect on 30 July 1999.
The Decision only regulated the use of the symbols, which are
prescribed by the municipal statutes Statut Občine Kuzma,
adopted on 12 March 1999 and published in Uradni list Republike
Slovenije 21/99 on 31 March 1999, with effect on 15 April 1999.
These symbols were soon abandoned, after only few months.
The coat of arms was horizontally divided with the blue top containing the three-border stone, in the middle was a bird flying over a hilly region. The lower half included two green hills with a stream representing the Lukaj potok dividing them. On the left hill were fields and on the right one were five disks, representing the five villages which constitute the municipality.
The flag was for vertical hoisting only, diagonally divided in white and green, with the stone and the bird lined black from the coat of arms in upper left.
