Międzyrzecz county

Międzyrzecz county (Powiat Międzyrzecki) consists of the communes (gminy) Bledzew, Międzyrzecz, Przytoczna, Pszczew, Skwierzyna, Trzciel.
Międzyrzecz County, Lubuskie Voivodship - former German name: Meseritz.

Arms and flag are brand new, adopted on August 27, 2008 (resolution # XXI/160/08)
"Arms: on the Spanish-style shield, divided in slant into two parts, on the upper field (red) there is an white eagle of the Wielkopolska (Great Poland) Princes with a gold ring on its tail, gold beak and talons. On the lower part of the shield (silver - white) there are two slanted green bands with three white six-pointed stars on each green band.
Flag: a rectangular piece of cloth in the ratio of 5:8, composed of three horizontal triangular wedges in the sequence from the top: red, white and green.
On the white triangle, the Arms of the county are placed."
