Gorzów: Nb. the word 'Wielkopolski' is a historical falsification as
Gorzów was never part of the Wielkopolska (Greatpoland) historical province.
124.000 inhabitants in 1991. The founding date is given as 1257. In 1402
it was bought by the Teutonic Order from the Brandenburgian March. In Poland
since WW2. It is in Gorzow Wielkopolskie county. German: Landsberg an der
Warthe.

Gorzow is a city with County-rights. Flag adopted in 1994. Ratio is
11:6. Landsberg carried a flag with three equal wide horizontal stripes
in the colors red-white-yellow.

Correct name is Gorzów Wielkopolski. However, there are proposals to
rename it to just Gorzów, because the city had only loose ties with historical
Wielkopolska province.
