Gorzow Wielkopolskie County flag

Gorzow Wielkopolskie county (Powiat Gorzowski), Lubuskie vojvodship, consists of the communes (gminy) Bogdaniec, Deszczno, Kłodawa, Kostrzyn nad Odrą city, Kostrzyn commune, Lubiszyn, Santok, Witnica. Gorzów Wielkopolski city is a separate county and doesn't belong to Gorzow Wielkopolskie county.
Here is the flag of Gorzow Wielkopolskie County in the voivodship of Lubuskie. Flag and Coat of Arms adopted on 16 February 2000. The yellow key symbolised the Polish openness and watchfull. He come from the coat of arms of the city of Santok in Lubuskie. The seven six-pointed yellows stars are for the communities in the county. The colors yellow and blue are identical with the European Union flag. It isn't accidental - The design is based on the idea of an United Europe.
