Overview

Nagyacsád is a village in Veszprém County in Hungary near to Town of Pápa (9 km to north) on the Little Hungarian Plains. The village has 716 inhabitants (1990 census), all of them Hungarians. The first mention of the village is from 1332 (ACHAD). All the settlers of the villages were members of the lower nobility. In the village there is a Baroque Calvinist Church (1782). The flag was adopted in 5 November 1999. Ratio of the flag is 2:3 and ratio of the "labarum" is 5:2.
