Overview

Fertőszentmiklós is a large village in Győr-Moson-Sopron county, Hungary. The image is based on the Home Page of the settlement at <www.fertoszentmiklos.hu>.
Datas about the settlement and its symbols (in Hungarian) are at <www.fertoszentmiklos.hu/tort_jobb.htm>. The first mension of the seal is from 1710 (maybe 1579?). On this seal there is the Coat of Arms renewed now. The Coat of Arms and the flag were adopted by the Res. No. 8/1992.(X.26.) of the community in 1992: "The flag of the large village is red-green on the center there is the Coat of Arms. Below the Coat of Arms there is an inscription in half circle: FERTŐSZENTMIKLÓS". No data of the colour of the inscription. I Think it is same as the edge of the Coat of Arms.
