Fafalios, now based in Piraeus is one of the big shipowner's dynasties originating from the island of Chios. The local nautical museum (website no longer online) shows some of their flagships, including MBC (motor bulk carrier) Nea Tyche (New Fortune), built in 1978: length 595 ft (181 m) and tonnage (volume) 17,055 grt. The emblem of the company can be seen on the funnel of the ship.

According to Brown's Flags and Funnels of Shipping
Companies of the World (1995) [lgr95], the house flag of Fafalios is blue with a white letter "Φ" (the Greek letter for "PH" or "F").
Josef Nuesse shows a triangular pennant of similar design.
