Description

Fuenterrebollo flag can be seen in this website.

Dov Gutterman, 13 May 2000

From the Fuenterrebollo Official Website:

Santiago Dotor, 24 Nov 2000

The flag is shown on the Fuenterrebollo website, as square, horizontally divided green-purple with the municipal coat of arms in the middle. Here is my translation of the relevant parts of the the description of the village symbols from Spanish:

We can state with near certainty that the municipality of Fuenterrebollo never used either distinctive arms or a proper flag. The municipal coat of arms and flags are new creations. The elements used in the coat of arms of Fuenterrebollo recall the administrative belonging of the village to the Community of Town and Land of Sepúlveda, represented by its arms, and the toponymy, represented by an heraldic rebus (an oak, "rebollo", on a fountain, "fuente").

Coat of Arms

The coat of arms is
"Per fess, 1. Or an oak proper standing on a wave azure and argent, 2. Gules a castle or embattled and masoned sable port and windows azure flanked by two keys argent. The shield surmonted by a Spanish royal crown."
