Description

Blue flag with a white centred fleur-de-lys, half as high as the flag, and eight white [six-pointed] stars one on each corner and half across each side of the flag, each star being inscribed in an imaginary circle of diameter 1/6 of the flag's height and being separated from the flag's sides by 1/18 of the flag's height.

The flag is a banner of the arms (blazoned Azure a fleur-de-lys between eight mullets of six points Argent). Both the fleur-de-lys and the stars are attributes of St Mary, local patroness. Flag adopted 10th May 1995. Source for image and text: Fluvià 2001.
