In the province of Alicante, there are several municipalities that have the Aragonese colours (yellow flag with four red stripes) with the municipal CoA in the center. The municipality of Xixona (Spanish: Jijona, 163.76 km² and 7,575 hab., 2008) is located in the comarca of L'Alacantí (Spanish: Campo de Alicante).
