The Village of Warburg, Alberta (population: 560) is located about 83 km SW of Edmonton in the County of Leduc. The agricultural and oilfield service sectors of the local economy are represented on the flag by a bushel of wheat and oil pumping equipment. Also on the municipal flag are two flowers, the Alberta Wildrose. In the center of the municipal flag is a white colored crest with the name of the town in the same dark shade of green as the remaining background of the flag.

According to AlbertaFirst.com:

Warburg was originally named Varburg after the Swedish birthplace of a long-time resident Albin Benson, now deceased. The name was later changed to accommodate English pronunciation.
