The municipality of Berloz (2,813 inhabitants on 1 January 2007; 1,449 ha) is located in the north of the province of Liège, on the border with Flanders. The municipality of Berloz is made since 1976 of the former municipalities of Berloz, Corswarem and Rosoux-Crenwick. The Corswarem family is a famous Belgian noble family.

According to Armoiries communales en Belgique. Communes wallonnes, bruxelloises et germanophones, this flag was proposed by the
of Heraldry and Vexillology Council of the French Community, with the following
description:
Cinq laizes longitudinales alternativement jaunes et rouges.
The flag is a banner of the arms of the Berloo family, known since the
Middle Ages, D'or aux deux fasces de geules (Or two fesses gules).
