Željko Heimer, 31 July 2002

The coat of arms is horizontally divided by the mountains of Vranica and Vlašic argent with three wavy ribbons azure in base, the chief is divided per pale sinister in gules and argent with three mullets barwise, one argent in the gules field and two azure in the argent field, the base is per pale dexter argent and vert overall an olive branch countercharged azure and argent.
The flag is red over white over green tricolour with the central white stripe being double the width of each of the other two and with the coat of arms in the middle. These symbols were adopted during 2003.
