Description of the flag

The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York provides financing and construction services to public and private universities, not-for-profit healthcare facilities and other institutions which serve the public good."

The flag consists of the departmental logo in white. The logo is 3 diagonally-divided squares and the letters DA arranged into a larger square, so that 2 of the smaller squares are side-by-side on the top half, the remaining square is on the lower left and the DA monogram is on the lower right. The 3 small squares are outlined in blue, and divided diagonally from lower left to upper right into an upper left blue half and a lower right white half. The monogram is the same shade of blue. None of the squares touch each other or the monogram.

On the flag the words "New York State" are in the same blue below the logo, and "Dormitory Authority" are above the logo. The size is small enough that the words fit exactly within the extended left and right margins of the logo.
