The Atlantic state of Connecticut has adopted a Clean Marina program:
http://www.ct.gov/dep/cwp/view.asp?a=2705&q=323530&depNav_GID=1635.
“Connecticut's Clean Marina Program is a voluntary program that encourages
inland and coastal marina operators to minimize pollution. The program also
recognizes Connecticut's marinas, boatyards, and yacht clubs that go above and
beyond regulatory compliance as "Certified Clean Marinas. All certified marinas
will receive a weatherproof Clean Marina Flag to fly at their facility and
authorization to use the Clean Marina Program logo on company publications.”
According to the rules, the logo “may be placed on burgees, banners...”.
It is a sea-green rectangle with rounded corners, bordered dark blue, around
the state map filled in, as it were, by a landscape: dark blue waves under a
light blue sky and to the left a white pole on which is sitting a white bird
looking toward the right; a white interrupted horizontal line appears between
waves and bird and the fourth of these five dashes bears what appears to be a
rope fastening post as used on yachts. In the lower right appears the name, in
dark blue, of the “Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection”
accompanied by the seal, in full colour, of this body.
Finding a flag
photo was difficult and this one (clickable; unspecified marina) will have to do
for the present:

Here is a better view of the flag (third
photo from top - clickable):

The seal of the Connecticut Dept of Environmental Protection is apparently only
rendered in shades of blue whereas the Clean Marina logo has it fully coloured.
