Description of the Flag

The flag of the City of Roy, Utah, is white field with city logo on it, bordered in blue. Image of the flag was send to me by Ryan Lewis, Roy City Public Works.

About the city:
"Roy is a city in Weber County, Utah, United States. The population was 32,885 at the 2000 census. Roy was settled in 1873, twenty-five years after Ogden; most of the surrounding communities had been settled prior to that time. On May 24, 1894 a post office was established in Roy. Previously known as Central City, Sandridge, the Basin, or Lakeview - Roy was not named until after the death of a local school teacher's child; Roy C. Peebles. The City of Roy was incorporated on March 10, 1937." - from Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roy,_Utah.
