The City of Delaware, Ohio, has written: "The City of Delaware flag was created in the 1970s. It contains, "City of Delaware" over the letter D. The inside of the letter is configured to represent a harness horse racing sulky wheel because the City is home to the Little Brown Jug harness race, harness racing's most prestigious race." Information and image of the flag thanks to Lee Yoakum from the City Administration.
