Description of the flag

A red-white-blue horizontal tricolor, with a county map in the center, and a cob of corn and stems of wheat on the white stripe. County name and date on the lower blue stripe.

This red, white and blue flag shows the outline of Union County. A large blue star appears in the middle. Corn and wheat are seen on the white stripe. Union County was established in1820. Its name reminds us that it was created as a union of parts from other counties.
