Description of the flag

A rounded green flag, with a central emblem composed of a yellow disk with several objects of local industry, surrounded by a white ring, over a white stripe with 14 yellow stars, the whole emblem surrounded by a blue fimbriation.
Phil Nelson, 9 November 2003

One end of this green flag is rounded, making it an unusual shape. Seven images appear in the centered yellow circle. There are fourteen yellow stars. Pike County was established in 1815. It was named for Zebulon Pike who discovered Pike's Peak in Colorado.
