A white flag, with 52 brown rays radiating from a bottom central point. Overlying these are three large wavy lines, a map of the county (bearing the county name), elements of industry, oil production, mining and agriculture in each corner, the date 1818 and the small letters "52nd County".

This flag shows three red stylized stripes and a blue field in the shape of Perry County. A star marks a site on the map. 52 yellow lines radiate from the bottom center. Perry County is the 52nd county in Ohio. Four images represent things that are important to the area. Perry County was established in 1818. It was named for Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry who defeated the British on Lake Erie in 1813.
