The Village of Port Jefferson in the Brookhaven also has its own flag- its
seal on a white oval in a light blue field. A portion of the seal is shown at
http://www.portjeff.com/, but I'm going
to have to check the exact wording and coloring as used on the flag though. The
braids and the ship are composed of gold lines and shading, but neither is
colored in. There are blue lines below the ship to indicate waves. Within the
upper half of the oval, arching around its edge are the words INCORPORATED
VILLAGE OF and within the lower half PORT JEFFERSON.
