Municipal flags in Dutchess County:
See also:
The flag of Dutchess County, NY, is, like many county and municipal flags from the Hudson Valley of New York, an orange, white, & blue tricolor, reflecting the area's heritage as part of the New Netherland colony. The flag can be seen in the photo of the County Legislative chamber seen at
www.co.dutchess.ny.us and
www.co.dutchess.ny.us/CMSGraphics. It is also visible at the extreme left of the photo of the town board of the Town of Hyde Park, Dutchess County shown at www.hydeparkny.us. The white flag at the far right in that photo is probably the Hyde Park town flag. Neither photo reveals enough for me to say whether the county seal en.wikipedia.org or some other
emblem is at the center of the county flag.
