Description of the Flag

"Our city flag is located in our council chambers and consists of the city logo embroidered on a beige background. I don’t have any information about the adoption date of the flag, designer, etc. Our city logo is located on our Web site at www.eminnetonka.com." - wrote me Jacque Larson, Community Relations
Manager of the City of Minnetonka, Minnesota.

About the city:
"Minnetonka is a suburban city in Hennepin County, Minnesota, United States, eight miles (13 km) west of Minneapolis. Its 2000 population of 51,480 makes it the fourteenth largest city in Minnesota. The word "Minnetonka" comes from the Dakota Indian mni tanka meaning "great water"." - from Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minnetonka,_Minnesota.
