Saginaw, Michigan, is an industrial city in the eastern part of the state,
located on the 'Knuckle of the Thumb,' that is, just at the entrance to that
part of the state which extends to the south shore of Lake Huron. A b&w drawing
of the municipal seal can be seen at the head of all pages of the municipal web
site, including the page cited below. This page also contains small photos of
the various department heads, as well as a
colored thumbnail of the city seal which appears at the head of the page.
According to Ms Diane Herman, the City Clerk, the municipal flag of Saginaw
is 'Michigan Blue,' which I take to mean the background color of the Michigan
state flag. 'At the center of the flag is a representation the City Seal of
Saginaw in full color.'
