At http://chesapeake-beach.md.us/electedofficials_towncouncil.htm was (now
changed) a photograph of the town council for Chesapeake Beach, the white flag
by default would be the town flag and appears to consist of the town seal on the
white field.
Chesapeake Beach was founded by the Washington and
Chesapeake Beach Railway Company in 1894 as a resort community for people to go
during the hot Washington DC summers. However, the railway was completed by the
Chesapeake Beach Railway Company in June 1900 and continued in operation until
1935.
