"New City Flag Adopted
A Committee of Judy Jackson, Chuck Boll, Brian Bailey and Laura Moses led a campaign to design and select a new City Flag. With the help of The Republic and their web services, a poll was conducted with two brand new and existing old design. The new Flag better represents the vibrancy of the community. The flag was unveiled at this years POW-MIA Plaza dedication. Downtown banners were also designed to complement the new design. Flags are available by calling the Mayor's Office. Prices are: $60.00 for 3" x 5" and $90.00 for 6" x 9". "

The City Flag was adopted in 2000. A local artist, Brian Bailey, designed the flag. The colors represent the Wayfinding areas of the City as follows: Green (Downtown); Blue (North); Orange (East); Red (Bridges on the West side of Town); and Purple (South). The silhouette of many local buildings is represented in the lower section. The flag has a horizontal version for a flagpole and a vertical version for downtown banners.
