Description of the flag

The flag bears the city logo and slogan, within narrow purple and gold bordures, placed on a white flag.

The City of Waukee flag and logo are trademarked and cannot be used without authority being granted by the Waukee City Council.

At the bottom of the web page at http://www.waukee.org/livehistory.html is described the 1973 contest that created a Waukee town emblem that is the basis of the current city logo, the key name design. The logo seems to be on every page of the city website on the right. It is then just to determine what background of the flag is.
