Description of the flag

The flag of the City of Mason City, Iowa, consists of three horizontal stripes - red, white, blue. On the red stripe inscription "MASON CITY" in white letters. On the white stripe map of Iowa in green with white "IOWA" on the map. On the blue stripe "CITY OF OPPORTUNITIES" in white. Image of the flag was sent to me by Pamela Stecker from the City Administration. They promise they'll search for further information.
