The flag of the City of Anamosa, Iowa, is a vertical triband with ratio 1:2:1
blue-white-blue, with city seal on a white stripe. It can be seen on a photo on
a city website:
http://www.anamosa-iowa.org.
About the city:
"Anamosa is a city
in Jones County, Iowa, United States. The population was 5,494 at the 2000
census. It is the county seat of Jones County." - from Wikipedia:

regarding a Cold War era film "Small Town, USA (U.S. Information Service/Pathescope
Company of America/Eurovision, 1957). 30 min. This documentary, intended for
foreign audiences during the Cold War and housed at the Iowa State University
archives, presents a pastoral view of a small town in the heartland of
America--Anamosa, Iowa--dependent on agriculture for its existence." Based on
this prior use, it would seem to me to have been a very logical choice for a
town slogan.
