Lake Park, Georgia
is located 14 miles south of Valdosta, the county seat of Lowndes County and
only 5 miles north of the Florida border on I75. This is one of the most
beautiful areas of Georgia, with its stately pines, cypress tress with Spanish
moss, and crystal clear lakes. A quiet but progressive community where you
can admire a beautiful sunset, stroll among magnificent live oaks, inhale the
fragrance of magnolia blossoms, and be charmed by the warmth of the people you
will meet. - from Lake Park Chamber of Commerce website:

The
flag (in vertical and horizontal version) was designed as a project of Valdosta
