Grayson is a city in Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States. The population

What is interesting for us
is that the city adopts the flag:
"The city of Grayson now has its own
official flag, thanks to action Monday night by the City Council. The flag,
patterned from the city seal adopted in the early 1980s, has a school bell as
its centerpiece showing the bell from the original Grayson High School, along
with cotton bolls representing the agricultural history of the town. It features
the motto, "Steadfast and True," the year the city was chartered (1901) and
three stripes. The green and gold on the flag represent Grayson High School's
colors.
"We needed to do this," Grayson Mayor Jim Hinkle said. "The city
of Grayson has been populated by good folks interested in the ideals of what
Grayson is all about, small town values." Hinkle added that the city, which
boasts a population of around 2,800, used to be a big cotton growing area in
years past. Southern Impressions, which does the signage for the city, designed
the layout for the flag." - the story by Randy Cox for Gwinnett Daily Post:
