The Cabazon Band of Mission Indians are located in Indio, California (25 miles east of Palms Springs). Like all of the tribes in Palm Spring and Coachella Valley areas, the Cabazons belong to the Uto-Aztecan family, Cahuilla linguistic group. The tribal membership is about 48.
