Description of the flag

Divided diagonally grey and red by a white-blue-white stripe containing 11 white stars, and overall a gold wreath inside which the grey and red are counterchanged.

It should be noted though that a photo of this flag shows the gray substantially lighter than shown above.

The NAVA image at http://www.nava.org/Flag%20Design/City%20Survey%202004/city_flag_photos/Montgomery.jpg and shown in the American Flag Survey (2004) and American City Flags (Purcell, 2003) is similar, apart for the number of stars (7 vs. 11) and slight differences in the wreath style and typeface.
