"It was confirmed by village council at April, 6, 1999. A square dark blue panel, in the centre is a yellow web-footed cross (scope of a fringing is equal 1/3 sides of a flag), from above and from below on distance in 1/8 sides of a flag from edges pass two white strips (width in 1/8 sides of a flag everyone). The authors are Yu.Terlets'kyi and A.Grechylo.

"It was confirmed by village council at April, 6, 1999. In an azure field between two argent beams a or web-footed cross. The authors are Yu.Terlets'kyi and A.Grechylo.
The arms specifies the name of a settlement and its geographical arrangement between two rivers - Stava and Stavka..

The Village

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"It is known since middle of XVI century. A settlement owned to princes Korets'ky which has built here well castle. From middle of XVII century the city belonged to Leschyns'ky, then Lubomyrs'ky, and later has passed to Stets'ky which on a place of ruins of the castle have constructed 1789 a palace. With 1965 the village has received the name Velyki Mezhyrichi."
