"It was confirmed by rural council at December, 25, 1997. A
square panel; on a dark blue background the white castle with
yellow roofs, above on the sides are two yellow planimetric stars
topped with a lily. The authors are A.Grechylo, Yu.Terlets'kyi.

Heraldry:
"It was confirmed by rural council at December, 25, 1997. In
an azure field is the argent castle with or roofs, above it on
the sides are the or planimetric stars topped with a lily (the
Pyatyrih emblem). The authors are A.Grechylo, Yu.Terlets'kyi. The
castle testifies to Novomalyn role as settlements, and
patrimonial arms Pyatyrih of Malyns'ky emphasizes a role of this
family in development of city and its name.

Heraldry:
"The first data concerns to end of XIV century when on a
hilly terrain above river by prince Svydryhailo was constructed
the big castle and named as Gluhni. Castle with the grounds was
presented to Olifer Elo-Malyns'kyi later. By the royal privilege
1590 it is allowed to Vaclav Elovych-Malyns'kyi to base the city
with name Novomalyn, to carry out fairs and to establish the
Magdebourg right."
