"It was confirmed by village council at August, 8, 1997. A square panel, on a vert background a yellow owl with open wings and a white hammer in paws, above it is white strip separated by three broken lines a white (width from 1/6 up to 1/3 sides of a flag). The authors are A.Grechylo, Yu.Terlets'kyi.

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"It was confirmed by village council at August, 8, 1997. In a vert field the or owl with a argent hammer in paws flies, the argent chapter above is incorrect cut. The authors are A.Grechylo, Yu.Terlets'kyi. The owl displays local legends on which many owls were found in the past in environmental woods (the name of a settlement ostensibly occurs from its arrangement "near owls"). The hammer symbolizes an industry, and vert color specifies, that the settlement lays in rich a wood of district.

"Has arisen in beginning XX century during a construction of the railway Kyiv-Sarny-Kovel'. Near village Klesiv in 1902 the railway station was constructed."
