    From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
    "Rectangular panel with ratio 2:3 is divided on the three equal vertical strips - blue, red and yellow. On the blue field are three yellow ears - two in upper part, one in the center. On the red field is white paty cross. On the yellow field are three green oak leaves - two in upper part, one in the center".

    From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
    "It was confirmed in December, 14th, 2004 by the decision of region council session. Per pale. Azure; three or ears (two above one); or, three vert leaves ears (two above one); in the gules chief is argent paty cross. The shield enframed by or cartouche and crowned by or territorial crown. The authors are T.Schur, A.Pozhars'kyi, S.Gavruluk.
    Argent cross on the gules field is Volyn' symbol. Three ears mean agriculture, azure color means water, three oak leaves mean region name ("dub" is "oak") and power, or is symbol of well-being.
