The Village

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"In old time on this place was settlement Ivanychi which have destroyed by tatars. According to written certificates, village was re-found at 1629 by grandee Danylovych. In the Middle Ages there was Boryspil's'ka squadron of the Pereyaslav regiment. At 1920 the village has supported revolt against Red Army and was burnt, and inhabitants were subjected to repression."
