The Flag

From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"It was confirmed in September, 6th, 2004 by the decision #180 of VII village council session. Rectangular panel with ratio 2:3 is divided on three horizontal strips in the ratio 6:1:13. In the top strip is white seagull, in the bottom are crossed yellow oak branch and sword with white handle."

"It was confirmed in September, 6th, 2004 by the decision #180 of VII village council session. Gules; saltire or oak branch and sword with argent edge. In azure chief with argent bordure is argent seagull.
The symbols mean a history of a settlement as an rebel center during World War II. Oak branch symbolizes neighboring woods and means force and courage. Seagull in azure means Balanovs'keå reservoir - unique natural object which underlines beauty of neighboring lands. Gules symbolizes courage, azure - beauty and greatness."
