"It was confirmed in September, 30th, 2003 by the decision #97 of village council session. The square panel, which consists of three equal horizontal strips - blue, yellow and green, on the blue strip near staff is white formy cross."

"It was confirmed in September, 30th, 2003 by the decision #97 of village council session. Per bend sinister in fir tree; azure, argent formy cross; vert, or stub, from which grows plant with leaves. The shield enframed by or cartouche and crowned by or village crown. The authors are Yu.Terlec'kyi, O.Targoniy.
Stub specifies the village name, the plant means of revival, cross is a symbol of belief and Volyn'. Azure colour means Maryanivs'ke lake, vert means - wood facilities, or means agrarian crafts.

The Village

"The first data about it refers to XVIII century. Village name deduces from an own name Pen'ko."
