From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"Per fess abaised by azure and vert; two or swords saltire. The shield enframed by or cartouche and crowned by or village crown. The author is E.Chernets'kyi.
On village borders are the fragments of famous Zmiiv defensive installation system. Near village is ancient settlement, which was significant fortification and protect territory from nomads. Land shaft with two crossed sword symbolize ancient fortification.
