From the site of Ukrainian Heraldry:
"Vert; argent horseshoe, crowned by or crown. The shield enframed by or cartouche and crowned by argent mural crown with three embattlements. The authors are S.Studzyns'kyi, E.Chernets'kyi.
Horseshoe symbolizes a famous horse factory, well-being and riches, and also reminds about cossack past. Vert colour symbolizes fertility.

The Village

"The first data about it refers to 1638. City has received European popularity by famous horse factory of Branyts'kyi earls. They personally sponsored this enterprise. It is known, that in middle of XIX century they specially went to Arabia to get best Arabian horses."
