White pennent bordered with red. Two crossed blue anchors and
red crescent, letters "USSR". Adopted in the 1920ths.

Where do we have the "SSSR" version from? Could it be that it was
really written there "SARP" and "SSSR" is just what someone
who did not know what was really written, put there as his guess…?
Even highly believable if the source is western (i.e. was unable to
read cyrillic), though the SU sources might have made the same
error…

What was the chartered area of this company?
Later the crescent was removed. I saw this in magazines of the 1970ies.
I think it really used until the 1990ies.

Yellow hammer and sickle on red field in the hoist part, the fly is
white. I saw this in magazines of the 1970ies, and I know it was adopted in
the 1920ies. I think it really used until the 1990ies.

What was the chartered area
of this company? Amur river up to Blagovexensk?

White pennant with red canton. Blue hammer and sickle in the fly.
I saw this pennant on photo of 1970ths: there were letters "SZRP"
instead of "SSSR". I saw this in magazines
of the 1970ies, and I know it was adopted in the 1920ies. I think it really
used until the 1990ies.

It was adopted in the 1920ies.

Where do we have the "SSSR" version from? It may well be that the
abbreviation was indeed SZRP aleways, and "SSSR" is just what someone
who did not know what was really written, put there as his guess…
Even highly believable if the source is western (i.e. was unable to
read cyrillic), though the SU sources might have made the same
error…

What was the chartered area of this company?
White-red pennant with red hammer and sickle and blue cyrillic
letters "LURP".
I saw this in magazines of the 1970ies. I think it really used until the

What was the chartered area
of this company? Lena river up to Usth-Kut?
António Martins, 22 Oct 2003
In 1926 soviet government adopted pennant for ships of joint-stock company
"Lena - Goldfield Limited" (Lena - river in Siberia; "Goldfield Limited" -
name in English with cyrillic letters). This pennant looks like 1/4 of
Union Jack. Was it soviet-british or british
company?
Victor Lomantsov, 02 Nov 2003
I saw this in magazines of the 1970ies. I think it really used until the
1990ies.
