Tatranská Lomnica is one of the three biggest settlements in Tatras area: Strbske Pleso, Smokovce, Tatranská Lomnica. Together with other settlements they form the town Vysoke Tatry. The settlement is situated at the root of the second highest peak in the High Tatras: Lomnicky Štit.

Tatranská Lomnica symbol with Cable - railway to Lomnický Štít is no Arms at all  - there is something completely different (Three piles under sun and snowflake in chief, broken wheel in the base, scroll with the name) on the reported site.
