Municipal flag of Videm

The flag and arms of Videm are prescribed by the Amendments to the Municipal Statutes Spremembe in dopolnitve statuta Občine Videm, adopted on 18 February 1997 and published in the official Slovene gazette Uradni list Republike Slovenije, 23/1997.

The symbols were designed by Valt Jurečič of Heraldika d.o.o. and Heraldica Slovenica, who kindly provided drawings from which the images shown on this page were made.

The flag is horizontal, in proportions 2:5, green with a square panel in the middle containing the bridge from the coat of arms.

Valt mentions that the municipal leaders are not fully please with this flag. The flag more and more often used (as seen on the municipal website) is green with the complete coat of arms on it, breaking the municipal regulations.
